Job summary

A leading educational support organization is seeking a Special Education Needs Teacher to provide personalized tutoring in core subjects to vulnerable young people with Special Educational Needs. The role offers flexible part-time hours and includes extensive support from a dedicated team, aiming to enhance educational engagement and wellbeing for students with various learning needs. Experience working with SEND is essential, along with professional teaching qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years teaching experience required.
• Experience with young people with MLD/SLD and additional needs is necessary.
• Enhanced DBS is needed (assistance available).

Responsibilities

• Provide tuition in core subjects to young people with SEND.
• Plan engaging sessions tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain progress reports for students.
