Remedy Education in Lewisham is seeking a friendly SEN GCSE Tutor to provide one-to-one Maths and English tuition mainly during school hours. You will support students who may struggle in mainstream education due to SEN, anxiety, or gaps in learning.
This is an ongoing/long-term role with referrals typically 10-15 hours per week per student, and opportunities for additional hours if referrals permit. A Maths and English teaching background is essential.

We are looking for friendly, patient and enthusiastic tutors to join our team and support students across Lewisham.
You will provide one-to-one tuition to young people who may be finding mainstream education difficult to access due to SEN, anxiety, gaps in learning or other barriers to education.
This is a really rewarding role where you can make a genuine difference to a young person's confidence, wellbeing and education.
You don't need to be a traditional classroom teacher. We are particularly interested in tutors who are approachable, adaptable and able to build positive relationships with young people.
Maths and English teaching experience is essential.
Most referrals are around 10-15 hours per week per student, usually during school hours. There may also be opportunities for additional hours depending on the referrals available.
Tuition may take place in the student's home, a community setting or another agreed location.
