Job summary

Remedy Tutors in Bromley is seeking caring, experienced tutors to support children and young people outside traditional classrooms. You will deliver tailored one-to-one Maths and English tuition in students' homes or suitable settings, with sessions mainly during school hours and flexible referrals across Bromley and surrounding areas.

The role welcomes tutors with SEN/SEND experience and a commitment to helping learners rebuild confidence and progress at their own pace.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to tutor Maths and English to primary to GCSE level.
• Experience tutoring or teaching SEN/SEND learners is desirable.
• Ability to plan engaging, tailored 1:1 lessons and monitor progress.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalised one-to-one Maths and English tuition.
• Support learners across primary, secondary and GCSE levels.
• Plan lessons tailored to each student's ability and needs.
• Identify gaps in learning and target improvements.
• Adapt teaching methods to SEN/SEND requirements.
• Maintain progress records and communicate with carers.
