Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking dedicated SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition for primary and secondary learners in Folkestone and surrounding areas.

You will work with SEN/SEND and mainstream students, tailoring lessons to individual needs and goals in schools, community settings or learners' homes. This role offers flexible part-time and full-time opportunities with competitive pay (£20–£25 per hour), plus professional training and ongoing consultant support to help you

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people.
• Tutoring or education experience.
• Experience supporting SEN/SEND and/or mainstream learners.
• Understanding safeguarding responsibilities.
• Ability to travel across Folkestone and surrounding areas.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilités

• Deliver engaging one-to-one tuition.
• Adapt lessons and learning resources to individual needs.
• Support primary and secondary learners.
• Work with SEN/SEND and mainstream students.
• Help students strengthen academic skills and confidence.
• Promote independence and positive learning habits.
• Monitor, assess and record learner progress.
• Develop positive relationships with students, families, schools and other professionals.
