Job summary

Remedy Education is seeking passionate SEN Tutors to support students with Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism and other needs. You’ll tailor lessons in core subjects and life skills, delivering engaging sessions in-person or online to suit families and schools.

In this role you’ll plan lessons, track progress and provide monthly reports. You’ll help pupils build confidence, manage challenging behaviour with patience, and collaborate with a supportive team to create personalised learning experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in SEN teaching (Dyslexia, ADHD, Autism, etc.)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Able to adapt lessons to suit a variety of learning styles
• Qualified in education or relevant SEN qualifications (QTS/PGCE/SEN)

Responsibilities

• Planning lessons and resources around the student's needs (core subjects or life skills)
• Plan and deliver engaging sessions
• Apply skills to raise pupils' confidence
• Manage children with challenging behaviour
• Track the learning progress and provide monthly reports
• Potentially engage in outdoor activities and use visuals to support communication
