Qualifications

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.

Job description

Location: Bridlington
Salary: £26 – £33 per hour
Start Date: January 2026 or sooner

GSL Education are looking to appoint proactive and skilled SEN Tutors to work with learners in Bridlington who require tailored academic and emotional support to thrive.

Role Overview

Deliver personalised 1:1 tuition for pupils with SEND such as autism, ADHD, SEMH and global developmental delay.

Plan and deliver subject-specific or Functional Skills lessons matched to learner abilities.

Support those who may be disengaged from education or require targeted intervention.

Work in partnership with GSL Education, parents and external agencies to track progress.

Provide a calm, supportive learning experience that promotes positive outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

QTS, Level 5+ SEN qualification or strong background in SEND tutoring.

Ability to differentiate content effectively and support emotional regulation.

Excellent interpersonal skills and a patient, empathetic nature.

Confident working independently in varied settings.

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
