Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting for a Trainee SEN Teacher: Permanent Paid Training Program (OFSTED Outstanding). This 2-year specialist training will move you from a 1:1 teaching assistant into an SEN Autism Teacher, with fully funded training and qualifications.

Located in an Outstanding specialist setting, you will support the primary division for children aged 4 with severe and complex needs, including autism and communication difficulties.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English (Grade C/4 or equivalent).
• Eligibility to work in the UK.
• Desirable: Previous experience in teaching, care, or as a Teaching Assistant.
• Desirable: Prior experience or a passion for working with SEN/Disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group, and whole-class basis.
• Engaging fully in the 2-year teacher training program.
• Providing a safe, nurturing, and interactive learning environment for primary-aged pupils.
