Dovetail and Slate are an employment business working in partnership with over 200 colleges across the UK, is offering exciting SEN Team Leader opportunities for individuals with experience teaching overseeing SEN provisions and managing a team with a focus on supporting students with Special Educational Needs subject.

Responsibilities
  • Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead within your centre
  • Lead on EHCP reviews and oversee the delivery of inclusive SEND support
  • Collaborate with Programme Leaders, Local Authorities, families, and external professionals
  • Line manage Learning Support Assistants and help create a nurturing, respectful learning culture
Requirements
  • Teaching qualification and the willingness to obtain an ENHANCED DBS check
  • Experience teaching children or young adults with SEN
  • Knowledge of additional learning needs
  • Up to date safeguarding training, or a willingness to obtain
  • Enhanced DBS or a willingness to obtain
