Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Teachers (Qualified & Unqualified) to support specialist SEN schools across Oxford and surrounding areas.

You will work in a small-class environment, helping children and young people develop academically, socially and emotionally while making a positive difference to their lives. The schools support children aged 5–18 with a range of needs including ASC, SEMH, MLD/SLD, SLCN, ADHD and sensory processing difficulties.

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting children and young people with SEN.
• Patient, empathetic, and resilient.
• Flexible and able to adapt to different learning and behavioural needs.
• Confident working as part of a supportive team.
• Experience in education or SEN is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people in small-class environments.
• Help develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
• Collaborate with teachers and other staff to implement SEN plans.
• Attend specialist SEN training and CPD opportunities where available.
