Job summary

Alston Moor Federation is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to work with pupils who have additional educational needs at Samuel King’s School. The post is 32.50 hours per week, term time only with inset days, from 08:30 to 15:30, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch.

You will support learning inside and outside the classroom and contribute to developing resources for learning activities. You will join a friendly, supportive team and work under teaching staff guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience working in schools or with pupils with additional educational needs.
• Ability to develop learning resources and learning activities.

Responsibilities

• Support access to learning for pupils with additional needs.
• Provide support for learners inside and outside the classroom.
• Supervise breaks and lunchtime as part of the role.
• Assist with school trips and visits as required.
