Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children with SEN/SEMH is essential.
• Experience in a primary school, specialist provision, or care setting is desirable.
• Patient, resilient, and nurturing approach to supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils within a specialist provision for SEND needs.
• Work with children across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 on 1:1 and small-group basis.
• Provide tailored support for ASC, ADHD, SEMH and speech/language needs.
• Encourage pupil engagement, independence and confidence in and out of class.
• Support emotional regulation and implement positive behaviour strategies.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, therapists, and external professionals to support progress.
