Job summary

Teach South Kent is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a secondary school in Bexhill, East Sussex, from September. This full-time contract role supports students with Autism Spectrum Condition and provides 1:1 and small group assistance.

You will work alongside teachers to deliver engaging learning, foster positive behaviour and help students develop independence, communication and social skills.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people in school, SEN, care, youth work or similar settings.
• Understanding of autism and additional learning needs (desirable but not essential).
• Patience, resilience and compassion.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Commitment to helping every student succeed.

An SEN Teaching Assistant – Secondary School is needed in East Sussex to join a school in Bexhill from September.

This full‑time, contract role offers £100‑£105 per day via PAYE and involves supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition.

Role

As a SEN Teaching Assistant you will:
