Uniform Education is seeking a patient SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in Woodford Green. You will support children and young people aged 4–19 with PMLD, complex needs, medical needs and sensory impairments, implementing personalised support and communication strategies.

You will work with teachers and therapists to deliver safe, engaging activities, promote independence and monitor progress in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Ability to adapt activities for individual learning targets.
• Willingness to follow EHCPs and safeguarding procedures.

Responsabilités

• Provide one-to-one and small-group support to pupils with SEND.
• Assist class teacher with differentiated multisensory learning activities.
• Support communication and independence through tailored strategies.
• Observe and record pupil progress and feedback to teachers.
• Maintain safeguarding, health and safety throughout the school day.
