SEN Teaching Assistant Hazelbeck School (via The Supply Register)

The Supply Register are proud to be working in partnership with Hazelbeck School, an exceptional specialist school in Bradford, to recruit dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join their supportive team.

About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you ll play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential. You ll work closely with teachers and other staff to provide tailored support both in the classroom and through one-to-one or small group work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support students with special educational needs in their learning and personal development.
  • Assist with implementing individual education and care plans.
  • Provide personal care support where required, maintaining dignity and respect at all times.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and promote inclusion.
  • Foster a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals with SEN is essential.

  • A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
