Job summary

Prospero Teaching is seeking passionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join schools in Weston-super-Mare. This is an exciting opportunity to support children and young people with special educational needs in mainstream or specialist settings.

Roles are full-time or part-time with flexible options. You will work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning, provide one-to-one or small group support, and help foster inclusive, positive classroom behaviour while contributing to ongoing training

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with SEN is desirable.
• Patience, empathy and a proactive approach to supporting learning.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different learning needs and environments.

Responsibilities

• Support students with SEN in mainstream classrooms or specialist settings.
• Work closely with teachers to deliver tailored learning and interventions.
• Provide one-to-one or small group support to help students reach their potential.
