Job summary

Randstad Education in Cambridge is seeking a permanent Teaching Assistant to support young adults with special needs. This role offers full-time hours, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and includes comprehensive training and development opportunities.

The successful candidate will assist in delivering engaging lessons and activities to pupils with moderate to severe learning difficulties in a supportive and innovative environment. The school is recognized as Ofsted Outstanding and has numerous resources to enrich the learning experience.

Qualifications

• Must have relevant SEN experience.
• Experience (voluntary or paid) working with children and young adults is essential.
• GCSE Maths and English or equivalent qualification is required.
• Eligibility to work in the UK is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of engaging and interactive lessons and educational activities.
• Assist learners with SEN on a 1:1, small group, and whole class basis.
