Job summary

Engage Education Ltd in Gravesham is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with additional needs in a welcoming primary setting. You will assist with 1:1 or small-group activities and help implement differentiated learning plans.

The role requires patience, adaptability and a collaborative approach with teachers and support staff. DBS check will be supported, and CPD opportunities are provided through Engage Education.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting.
• Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred.
• Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential.
• Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.

Responsibilities

• Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum.
• Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions.
• Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive.
• Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme.
