Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND is essential.
• GCSEs with good literacy and numeracy.
• Patient, caring and committed attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full-time availability, Monday to Friday.
• Own transport or reliable commuting arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Support classroom learning, activities and individual learning targets.
• Encourage communication, social interaction and independence.
• Help maintain a positive, safe and structured learning environment.
• Work closely with teachers and other school staff.
