Academics is seeking a passionate SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start in Devizes. This full-time role involves supporting children with Special Educational Needs, including autism and learning difficulties.

As part of your responsibilities, you will provide 1:1 support, assist with classroom learning, and help children develop essential social skills. The school offers a supportive environment, aiming to enhance students' confidence and independence.

Pay is between £90 and £100 per day, with hours from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Compassionate and dedicated individual passionate about working with children with SEN.
• Previous experience with children or vulnerable adults is beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 support and small group interventions.
• Support students with autism, communication needs, and emotional regulation.
• Help manage behaviour using positive behaviour strategies.
