Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - Durham

Location: Durham, County Durham

Job Type: Full-Time / Part-Time / Flexible Supply

Start Date: Immediate Start Available

Salary: 95-120 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)

Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a caring, patient, and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with additional learning needs within a welcoming secondary school in Durham.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs. Whether you are an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant or a graduate looking to begin a rewarding career in SEND education, we would love to hear from you.

You will support students aged 11-16 with a range of, which may include autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, SEMH needs, or physical disabilities. Your role will involve providing individualised support, helping students access learning, and promoting independence and confidence.
