The school are looking for an ambitious SEND Teaching Assistant who have a passion for teaching and understanding children with Special Educational Needs and can offer the very best learning to their pupils and ensure they achieve the excellent outcomes they deserve, helping them to achieve their aspirations. Previous experience of working in a special needs setting or knowledge and understanding of special needs education is essential as the school are specifically looking for a SEND Teaching Assistant who can work with pupils who have communication and interaction difficulties and other associated complex needs.
This SEND specialist setting based in Scunthorpe are a large inclusive school supporting students and pupils between the ages of 2 to 19 with wide ranging special educational needs including physical and medical needs, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and social communication difficulties and severe and profound learning difficulties.
