Working Hours: 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM

About the school:

A supportive special school in Brixton Hill catering for students aged 11-19 with Autism, Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties, and associated learning needs.

About the role:

You will provide tailored support to students, assist with classroom activities, and help manage challenging behaviour. This role requires patience, adaptability, and a commitment to improving outcomes for young people.

We're looking for a dedicated candidate to:
  • Support students with Autism and communication needs
  • Assist with behaviour management strategies
  • Promote independence and life skills
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and therapists
Requirements - The ideal candidate would have:
  • Previous experience supporting students with Autism and Speech, Language and Communication Difficulties
  • Experience managing challenging behaviour
  • Experience working with children and/or young people
  • A valid enhanced DBS (Child or Child & Adult Workforce)
