Job summary

Aspire People in the United Kingdom is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant to support students across key stages and help deliver lessons in a busy school environment. You will assist teachers with planning, provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, manage classroom behaviour, supervise breaks, and support students with SEN to access learning effectively.

Full time: 8.30am - 3.30pm

Are you an experienced and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a fulfilling opportunity?

Aspire People are currently recruiting for SEN Teaching Assistants. What we can offer can range from a days cover, a weeks cover, a terms cover to long-term cover for the whole academic year.

As a SEN TA, you will be expected to complete typical TA duties working with SEN students.

You will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across all key stages. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting teachers with planning and delivering lessons.
• Providing targeted support to small groups or individual students.
• Managing classroom behaviour, ensuring a positive learning environment.
• Supervising students during break times and lunch.
• Supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
