SEND Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEND Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant and supportive specialist school in Rotherham. This all-age special school caters for pupils aged 2–19 with a wide range of complex needs, including:

  • Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD)
  • Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD)
  • Autism Spectrum Conditions (ASC)
  • Communication and sensory needs

The school is known for its nurturing environment and personalised curriculum, which supports pupils in developing independence, communication, and life skills. Key Responsibilities

Essential Requirements

Desirable Qualifications/Training
  • Team Teach or other positive behaviour support training
  • Moving and Handling
