Job summary

Teaching Personnel is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for a September start in welcoming schools across the region. You will support pupils with a range of additional needs and work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver engaging learning experiences.

We seek caring, patient individuals with practical SEN experience, a full UK driving licence, and a valid DBS on Update Service. A positive, proactive approach helps create a safe and inclusive learning environment for every child.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence is essential.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on Update Service to help fast-track your application.
  • Experience supporting children with SEN or transferable experience from education, care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or similar roles.
  • Valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • Caring, patient and proactive approach with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

Responsibilities

  • Support pupils with a range of additional needs both in and out of the classroom.
  • Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to deliver engaging learning experiences.
  • Encourage independence, confidence, and positive outcomes for every child.

SEN Teaching Assistant - September Start

Start your new role this September - begin your onboarding and compliance checks over the summer so you're ready for day one!

Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We're looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants to join welcoming schools this September.

What we're looking for:
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
  • An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS registered on the Update Service to help fast-track your application.
  • Practical experience supporting children with SEN or transferable experience from education, care, youth work, coaching, mentoring, or similar roles.
  • A valid Right to Work in the UK.
  • A caring, patient, and proactive approach with a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay.
