Job summary

Supply Staff Ltd is actively seeking caring SEN Teaching Assistants to support pupils with additional learning needs in Portishead primary schools. You will provide targeted help to enhance communication, social, and learning skills, while promoting inclusivity and confidence in learners.

Role requires patience, adaptability and strong teamwork to collaborate with teaching staff and safeguarding procedures to ensure pupil wellbeing in a supportive classroom environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience supporting children in an educational or childcare setting.
• SEN experience is desirable.
• A patient, understanding and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• An understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
• Relevant qualifications in education, childcare or SEN are advantageous.
