Do you have experience working in a childcare setting and are looking to work within a school or education setting? Are you considering a future career in education or a teacher training qualification but unsure how to start on this path?

We are looking for SEND Teaching Assistants to work with children with SEN in secondary schools in the Greater Manchester area to work on a full‑time basis, starting ASAP!

What does a SEN Teaching Assistant do?
  • Supporting students with additional needs and disabilities on a 1:1 and small group basis to ensure they are succeeding both academically and pastorally, responding to their individual needs
  • Working alongside class teachers and other school staff, providing essential additional support
  • Promoting the inclusion and acceptance of all students, improving the whole school learning journey
What will you need for this SEN Teaching Assistant job?
  • Based within Greater Manchester
  • Clear desire to work with children and young people
  • Previous experience working with children and young people with SEN would be beneficial, but not essential. This experience could be within schools, care, fostering, tutoring, coaching for example.
  • Willingness to undertake relevant CPD training as required by Milk Education and your placement school.
