SEN Teaching Assistant (Team Teach):

Prospero Teaching are currently recruiting teaching assistants/learning support assistants with team teach training to join a school in Stalybridge.

The Role:

  • Supporting pupils 1-1 and in small groups
  • Working closely with the teacher and other staff members to monitor progress
  • Providing personal care

Position Details:

  • Location: Stalybridge area
  • Position: SEN TA (Team Teach trained)
  • Type of Work: Temporary
  • Full time/Part time: Full time only
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: 105 per day, depending on experience
  • Start date: ASAP
  • End date: Ongoing, Temp roles

Experience, Training & Qualifications:

  • Up to date Safeguarding training within the last year (desired but training can be provided)
  • Team Teach training is essential for this position
  • Experience within the care or education sector is highly desired

ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child related references that cover the last two years
