Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a secondary school in Haringey, London. You will support pupils with special educational needs and help deliver targeted support under supervision. The role is full-time, temporary with potential for extension or permanent position based on performance.

The ideal candidate will have experience with children, a degree (preferred if STEM), and up-to-date safeguarding training. DBS and right to work in the UK are required.

SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching is looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for a Secondary school in Haringey. The school is looking for someone who is enthusiastic and who has a can-do attitude. The role is open to candidates with previous SEN experience and for those who are looking to start their career in education. Although not essential the school would prefer candidates with a degree in a STEM subject. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
• Provide two professional child related references that cover the last 2 years
