Job summary

A leading education provider in Lancing is seeking a Full-time Teaching Assistant to support children with severe and complex needs in a nurturing school environment. The role offers training opportunities, career progression, and involves working 1:1 with learners. Experience in teaching or care is desirable, along with GCSE Maths and English. This position is term-time only and starts ASAP.

This specialist school is a magnificent, OFSTED "Outstanding" school. The school is currently seeking a Full time Teaching assistant to support in their primary division. This role is needed 5 days a week (Monday-Friday) and is a term time only role (8:30-4:00pm). This role will be to start ASAP and is a fabulous opportunity for a committed, nurturing and empathetic individual. This role is needed from Now to July 2026 in the first instance. Applicants will be responsible for helping Children from the age of 4 years with severe and complex needs including but not limited to Autism, ASD, SEMH and brain injury. This school is a hugely popular setting and is dedicated to offering a practical, accessible and thought provoking curriculum for all the pupils. Each child receives a 1:1 education that is catered to their needs and goals. The school boasts brilliant grounds and exceptional facilities.
