The ideal candidate will assist pupils with their work, promote positive behavior, and work cooperatively with staff to address individual needs. Experience working with children with additional support needs is preferred but not essential. This role offers a chance to make a meaningful impact on students' lives in a supportive educational setting.
Radio City School is recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join our Education team! We are looking for a versatile, resilient and committed candidate who can adapt their practice wherever necessary to support our pupils. The successful candidate will work alongside our teaching team, assisting the pupils with their work and supporting them with emotional regulation while establishing good relationships, acting as a role model and responding to individual needs.
We are an independent, specialist school providing education and care services to children and young people aged 8‑18 years with a wide range of complex needs, including autism spectrum disorder, learning difficulties, ADHD, child sexual exploitation, emotional and behavioural difficulties, and other challenging behaviours. Our young people often have had negative experiences in school with substantial gaps in their education.
The post will be predominantly based within Radio City School. There may be a requirement to travel to other locations in line with the duties of the post. A full driving licence would be beneficial but is not essential.

All applicants must be willing to undergo safeguarding screening appropriate to the post, including checks with Disclosure & Barring Service and at least two references covering the last three years. References may be requested prior to interview for all roles within our schools.
