SEN Teaching Assistant - North Somerset

We're currently looking for a caring and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist setting in North Somerset that supports children and young people with a range of complex learning needs, including autism, communication challenges, sensory processing differences and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs.

As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you'll play a vital role in helping pupils develop confidence, independence and social skills through both classroom and community-based learning. Working alongside teachers and therapists, you'll support individual pupils and small groups, adapting activities to meet each learner's unique needs.

Experience
  • Supporting children or young people with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, ASD, or speech and language).
  • Working in education, specialist care, early years or youth work.
  • Bringing patience, creativity and empathy to every interaction.
