SEN Teaching Assistant - South London

Location: South London (Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, Croydon, Greenwich, Wandsworth, and Bromley)
Salary: £100-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Long-Term, Full-Time

Are you an SEN Teaching Assistant or support worker looking for a consistent and rewarding role in a supportive school setting?

GSL Education is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants (SEN TA) to work across a range of specialist SEN schools and inclusive mainstream schools in South London, supporting pupils with Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, SLD, PMLD, and complex needs. These roles offer long‑term stability, strong school support, and the opportunity to move into permanent positions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide 1:1 and small‑group support to pupils with additional needs
  • Support students with behaviour, emotional regulation, and engagement
  • Assist teachers with classroom learning and daily routines
  • Work closely with SENCOs, therapists, and pastoral teams
  • Help maintain a safe, structured, and inclusive learning environment
Ideal Candidate
  • Have experience in SEN, education, care, youth work, or support work
  • Are calm, patient, and confident supporting challenging behaviour
  • Are reliable and available Monday to Friday
  • Are seeking a long‑term, full‑time position

School‑based experience is advantageous but not essential. Training and ongoing support will be provided.
