SEND Teaching Assistant - Primary School (ASD & Communication Support)

We are working in partnership with a supportive and inclusive SEND primary school in Westminster who are seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support children with ASD and communication needs.

This role is particularly well suited to Psychology graduates or individuals looking to build experience within SEND, as the school offers training and ongoing support to help you develop your skills.

Location: Westminster
Pay rate: £97-£105 per day

As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers and specialist staff to support pupils' academic progress, communication, and emotional development, both on a 1:1 basis and in small groups.

Requirements
  • Personal or professional experience supporting children with special educational needs
  • A genuine interest in working with children with ASD and communication difficulties
  • Psychology graduates are welcome
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • DBS on the Update Service (essential)
