Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support young people with special educational needs in a caring and inclusive environment?

Aspire People is currently working with a welcoming and well‑resourced school in the Bradford area, who are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of pupils who need additional support to reach their full potential.

About the School

This supportive and inclusive school provides education for pupils with a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASC), moderate learning difficulties (MLD), and social, emotional and mental health needs (SEMH). Your Role

• Provide one‑to‑one and small group support to pupils with SEN
• Assist the class teacher with planning, resources, and classroom management
• Implement individual learning plans and behaviour support strategies
• Help create a calm, nurturing classroom environment
• Work closely with the SENCO, teachers, parents, and outside professionals

About You

• Experience supporting children with SEN, ideally in a school setting
• Calm, patient, and adaptable, with excellent communication skills
• Confident in managing challenging behaviours in a positive, proactive way
• A team player with a genuine passion for supporting young people
• Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. Team Teach, Autism Awareness) are desirable but not essential
