Job description

As a SEN Teaching Assistant at The Holme C of E Primary School, you'll play a truly meaningful part in a child's school journey. Your days will be filled with supporting learning, building confidence, and helping a pupil feel included, valued, and ready to shine.

You'll work closely with the class teacher to bring lessons to life, offer one-to-one or small-group support, and celebrate every achievement - big or small. From preparing the classroom to encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils develop independence, you'll be a steady, encouraging presence throughout the school day.

You’ll also be part of a warm, collaborative team, sharing insights with colleagues, chatting with parents, and working alongside professionals who all want the very best for each child.

Safeguarding and wellbeing are at the heart of the role, and you'll have plenty of opportunities to grow your skills through ongoing training and development.

It's a rewarding, hands-on role perfect for someone who loves working with children, brings patience and positivity, and wants to make a real difference in a child's life.
