Principal Education is recruiting for a primary special school in Hayes, Hillingdon, for children aged 3 to 11 with social, emotional and mental health needs, rated Outstanding by Ofsted in every area.

You will plan personalised lessons across the primary curriculum, build trusting relationships with children who find school difficult, and use clear routines and positive strategies to support emotional regulation.

Formación

• Qualified Teacher Status or QTLS
• Experience teaching children with SEMH or challenging behaviour
• A calm, relational approach to behaviour
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum
• Full time availability, Monday to Friday
• Enhanced DBS on Update Service or willingness to apply
• Two references and the right to work in the UK

Responsabilidades

• Plan personalised lessons across the primary curriculum
• Build trusting relationships with children who have found school difficult
• Use clear routines and positive behaviour strategies to help children manage their emotions
• Work with support staff, leaders and therapists towards each child’s Education, Health and Care Plan goals
• Keep families involved and share progress with them
