Overview

Are you an experienced SEN Teacher? Are you looking for a new role in the borough of Tower Hamlets? Do you have experience working with Primary age children with ASD? This role is based in Tower Hamlets at a 3 Form Entry Primary School with a January 2026 start, a fixed-term contract with options to become permanent, and a salary on the MPS1 – MPS6 Inner London Pay Scale.

Responsibilities
  • Lead interventions for groups of children with ASD across the school.
  • Support children, teachers, parents and carers to ensure pupils with additional needs receive a tailored and enriched curriculum.
  • Work with the SENCO and visiting therapists to deliver high-quality SEN provision.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive learning environment within a well-resourced classroom.
Qualifications
  • QTS is essential for this role.
  • Excellent working knowledge of the Primary curriculum.
  • Hands-on experience working with children with ASD.
  • A SEN specialist or additional training is advantageous but not essential.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
