Qualifications

• Ability to differentiate lessons and adapt teaching strategies to suit range of learning needs.
• Strong classroom management and positive behaviour management skills.
• Excellent communication, organisation and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to pupils' individual needs and abilities.
• Support pupils across primary or secondary age groups with a range of SEND.
• Adapt teaching approaches and resources to ensure learning is accessible, engaging and meaningful.
• Promote positive behaviour, emotional regulation, confidence and independence.
• Create a safe, structured and inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and progress.
• Monitor pupil development and adapt learning strategies to meet individual targets and outcomes.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs and other professionals to provide consistent, effective support.
