Location: Birmingham
Position: SEN Teacher
Start Date: ASAP or after October half term

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Qualified Teacher (QTS) to join a welcoming Primary School in Birmingham as an SEN Teacher.

Class Profile

This role is within a small class of 10 pupils aged 6‑7 years old, all with a range of additional needs including:

  • Global developmental delay
  • Non‑verbal and pre‑verbal communication
  • Various levels of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)

You will be supported by three experienced Teaching Assistants who work closely with the class to provide an engaging and nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate Will
  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – this is essential.
  • Have experience teaching children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ideally within a primary or specialist setting.
  • Be confident planning and delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning levels.
  • Use creative strategies to support non‑verbal and pre‑verbal communication.
  • Be patient, adaptable, and passionate about making a difference in children’s education and wellbeing.
