Targeted Provision Ltd. is seeking SEND Tutors and Teachers in the UK to deliver Maths, English, or Science tutoring with flexibility across in-person, hybrid, and remote formats. Candidates with a passion for transforming the lives of disengaged and vulnerable learners are invited to apply.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way.
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS and 2+ professional references
• Location: UK-based with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs

Responsibilities

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybrid Maths, English, or Science tuition to children and young people with SEND and SEMH needs
• Support pupils KS1–KS5 with trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• Contribute to improving education standards for SEND and SEMH learners

SEND Tutor and Teacher role requirements:

• Experience: 2+ years teaching experience, ideally working with SEND, SEMH, MLD, SLD, and/or PMLD in a holistic and trauma-informed way
• Subjects: Familiarity teaching English, Maths, and/or Science
• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS)
• Compliance: Enhanced DBS (we can facilitate this if needed) and 2+ professional references
• Location: You must be based in the UK with the right to work in the UK, even for remote/online jobs
• Safeguarding: Knowledge of safeguarding and creating a safe learning environment

The SEND Tutor and Teacher role and responsibilities:

• Provide in person, online/remote, and hybridMaths, English, or Science tuition to children, teenagers, and young people with SEMH and SEND needs, including MLD, SLD, PMLD, and other Additional Educational Needs
• Support pupils and students, ranging from KS1 - KS5 (as appropriate for your skills), referred by local authorities and schools by planning and delivering flexible, trauma-informed tutoring and mentoring
• Plan and report for lessons and provide regular feedback on student progress
• We are on a mission to raise the standard of education provided to young people with SEND (Special Education Needs and Disabilities), as well as other needs such as SEMH needs (Social, Emotional and Mental Health). We are increasingly supporting children and young people with MLD (Moderate Learning Difficulties), SLD (Severe Learning Difficulties), and PMLD (Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties).
