January Start | Specialist SEND School | Full-Time

Are you an inspirational teacher with a passion for helping every learner achieve their full potential?

We are proudly supporting a growing all-age specialist SEND academy seeking three committed Teachers to join their team from January on either long-term supply or potential temp-to-perm routes.

The academy supports pupils aged 2–19 with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD) , Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD) , complex medical needs , and an increasing number of autistic learners working across a range of curriculum pathways from sensory-based learning to pre-key stage and National Curriculum access .

The Role

You will be responsible for :

  • Teaching, planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that meet individual EHCP outcomes
  • Setting clear learning objectives, expectations and progress targets
  • Working collaboratively with support staff to create safe and motivating learning environments
  • Using personalised assessment and communication approaches
  • Participating in curriculum contribution, school development and professional learning activities
Who We’re Looking For
Essential :
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS / QTLS / EYTS)
  • Ability to create stimulating, inclusive and differentiated learning
  • Passion for SEND education, resilience, creativity and commitment
Desirable :
  • Experience teaching in SEND, SEN units, alternative provision, PRU, SEMH, PMLD or SLD settings

Teachers from mainstream primary, secondary, early years and specialist backgrounds are encouraged to apply — exceptional support and training are provided .

Safeguarding

This role is subject to Enhanced DBS and full compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education safer recruitment practices.
