Job summary

Teach360 is seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Teacher for a long-term role in a Camden SEN School. You will plan and deliver differentiated lessons for students aged 11–19 with SLD, PMLD and ASD.

The school serves learners with challenging behaviour; MAKATON and PECS experience desirable; strong behaviour management and differentiation skills are essential. The role is offered with a daily rate of £160–£200, depending on experience, with an ASAP start.

Qualifications

• Qualified SEN teacher with QTS or QTLS.
• Experience with SLD, PMLD and ASD.
• Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills.
• Ability to plan and deliver differentiated lessons.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons meeting each child's needs.
• Support students aged 11–19 with SLD, PMLD and ASD in a sensory curriculum.
• Maintain high standards of behaviour management and classroom routines.
• Collaborate with school staff to support pupil progress.

The Role - Special Educational Needs Teacher - Camden

We are looking for an experienced Special Educational Needs Teacher who has the ability to plan and deliver a range of differentiated lessons that meets the individual needs of each child. This lovely natured SEN School caters for students aged 11-19 with SLD, PMLD and ASD. Many students at this school also have Autism Spectrum Disorder or Challenging Behaviour so strong behaviour management skills is essential. Students at this level would be working below the national curriculum levels and would follow a sensory curriculum so experience using MAKATON and PECS is desirable.
