About the School

The school supports pupils with ASC, SEMH, MLD, SLD and complex needs, providing a nurturing, structured and holistic environment where every child is supported to succeed. You will be joining a highly supportive leadership team and a staff cohort who work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care and personalised learning.

The Role – SEN Teacher (Permanent)

As a permanent member of staff, you will:

  • Lead a small, well-supported class with a high ratio of specialist SEN Teaching Assistants.
  • Plan and deliver individualised, creative and differentiated lessons that meet diverse learning and sensory needs.
  • Use trauma-informed, relational and therapeutic approaches to support behaviour and regulation.
  • Work closely with pastoral teams, therapists, families and external professionals to deliver consistent support.
  • Contribute to EHCP reviews, progress tracking and whole‑school development.
The Ideal Candidate

We would love to hear from you if you have:

  • QTS (essential) and a genuine passion for SEN education.
  • Experience working with pupils who have ASC, SEMH or complex learning needs (or strong transferable experience).
  • A nurturing, patient and resilient approach.
  • Excellent teamwork, communication and the ability to adapt creatively.
  • The drive to make a real difference in a permanent role.
