This KS2 SEN Teacher role sits within an Enhanced Resource Provision at a mainstream primary school in Coventry. The ERP supports pupils aged 8 to 10 with complex communication, learning, and social needs. You will teach a small group of pupils who rely on structure, patience, and consistent relationships to feel safe and ready to learn.

This is a teaching role where your expertise will directly shape pupils daily experiences. You will work in a well planned environment, supported by a specialist team, with routines that help pupils stay calm, regulated, and engaged.

Responsibilities
  • Teach a small group of KS2 pupils with complex and mixed needs.
  • Plan, adapt, and deliver lessons that support communication, emotional regulation, and functional learning.
  • Follow agreed routines that help pupils manage transitions and remain settled.
  • Work closely with the SENCO, therapists, and specialist staff to refine approaches.
  • Lead a small team of support staff and ensure consistent strategies.
  • Use simple assessment tools to track progress and inform planning.
