Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting SEN Teaching Assistants for The London Borough of Haringey. Location: Haringey. Start date: September 2026.

Contract: Full Time Cover or Daily Cover - Term Time Only. You will support learning, assist teachers, deliver interventions, work with students including those with SEN, and contribute to a positive learning environment. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year experience with SEN, strong classroom management and communication, confidence leading groups,

• Are confident with leading groups

• Work collaboratively as a team

Responsibilities

Are you an enthusiastic and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make an impact within The London Borough of Haringey? Tradewind are seeking confident, motivated and compassionate Higher Level Teaching Assistants, SEN Teaching Assistants and 1:1 Learning Support Assistants to joining a friendly staff team within this fantasic London Borough.

As a Teaching Assistant across the school, you will;

• Support learning activities across the school including whole class cover when required
• Support teachers in planning, preparation and assessment
• Deliver Target Interventions to help pupils progress
• Work closely with children of varying abilities including those with SEN
• Contribute to a positive learning environment
• Support students on a 1:1 basis
