Job summary

Aspire People is urgently seeking two SEN Teaching Assistants for full-time hours in the AL3 postcode area. You will support middle and upper school pupils with autism and ADHD, ensuring a safe and engaging learning environment from 8:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday.

Immediate availability is preferred; a DBS on update service is advantageous. Aspire People Limited acts as an Education Agency and Education Employment Business with safeguarding responsibilities and checks.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with special educational needs in a school setting.
• Awareness of autism and ADHD and strategies to support students.
• DBS on update service is preferred or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Assist in classrooms in middle and upper school with SEN pupils.
• Support individual pupils and small groups during learning activities.
• Assist with behavior management and facilitate inclusive teaching.
