SEN Teaching Assistant - Supply

Location: Rotherham and surrounding areas
Salary: £90-£120 per day (depending on experience)
Contract: Flexible supply basis, immediate start available

Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support local schools across Rotherham. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference to young people with additional learning needs.

Role

As an SEN TA, you'll work on a day-to-day or longer-term supply basis, supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs - including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and communication difficulties. Your role will involve providing tailored 1:1 or small group support, helping pupils access the curriculum, and working closely with class teachers and SENCOs to ensure positive outcomes for every child.

About You
  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school, care, or residential settings considered)
  • A calm, patient, and nurturing approach
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • A flexible attitude and willingness to travel around the Rotherham area
  • Hold (or be willing to apply for) a valid DBS on the Update Service
