Are you a caring and committed SEN Teaching Assistant looking to support children in a nurturing and inclusive environment?

Role Overview
  • Position: SEN Teaching Assistant - Primary
  • Location: B90, Solihull/Shirley
  • Start Date: Immediate
  • Contract: Full-time, ongoing (potential for long-term/permanent)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, school hours
Responsibilities
  • You will work closely with class teachers and the SENCO to support pupils with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis and/or in small groups.
  • The role may involve supporting pupils with a range of needs including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, or social and emotional challenges.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience working with children with SEN (in a school or similar setting)
  • A calm, patient and empathetic nature
  • A proactive and flexible approach to supporting individual learning needs
  • A good understanding of safeguarding and SEN best practices
  • Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
