Job summary

Prospero Teaching is looking for passionate Teaching Assistants to support the learning of pupils in one of our inspirational Primary Schools across in Hexham on a full-time basis. Qualifications

• Experience supporting pupils with varied SEN and challenging behaviour.
• Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
• Hold Right to Work in the UK and DBS clearance or willingness to obtain it.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with SEN and challenging behaviour on a 1:1 basis and in small groups (ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD).
• Deliver intervention sessions to small groups to boost understanding and progress.
• Support across the school at break times and lunchtimes as required.
• Work closely with Class Teachers to understand diverse learning needs and styles.
